I have some more upcoming bookstore appearances to announce!
  • Saturday May 4, I’ll be at the WOW Literacy Festival, at the WOW! Children's Museum, 110 N. Harrison Ave, Lafayette CO, 2:30-4pm.
  • Saturday, June 1, at the Boulder Barnes & Noble, 2999 Pearl Street, Boulder, CO 11am-3pm.
  • Saturday June 8, at the Lyons Lit Fair Author Fest, at the Lyons Community Library, 451 4th Ave, Lyons, CO, 11am to noon.
  • And I’ll be doing a Storytime Takeover, for June Moon on Tuesday, June 18, 10am at Second Star to the Right, 1455 Pearl Street, Denver, CO (with help from Carolyn Combs).

Upcoming Book Signings!
Here are two new bookstore appearances for Fall 2023:
  • On October 14, 11:00am-3:00pm, at Barnes & Noble Loveland, a triple book-signing with author Beth Anderson and author/illustrator Julie Rowan-Zoch. Please stop by for kraken photo ops, takeaway crafts, and more!
  • On November 18, 11:00am, at The Wandering Jellyfish, a special appearance with Monsters in the Briny illustrator Scott Brundage. Lynn will read, Scott will draw sea creatures, and there will be crafts!

Award News
I’m ever-so-grateful that Monsters in the Briny is a finalist for 33rd Reading the West Award in the Picture Book category! Voting is open to the public during the month of May and can be found here.

It’s also a finalist for the SCBWI Crystal Kite Award in the Southwest division!

I’m over the moon to announce my board book, JUNE MOON, with illustrations by Nate Carvalho, publishing in 2023 with Familius. It’s being described as capturing “a languid summer evening as child and moon reluctantly prepare for sleep.” I couldn’t be happier and will post a cover image as soon as it’s available!
